The charity event benefits Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and The Acton Community Supper and Food Pantry. Last year’s grand total between grant money and funds raised was $15,000. We would like to hit $20,000 this year. 100,000 people are eligible to receive services from these two pantries, 12 towns total. 1500 families were reported as receiving assistance between the two pantries last year. Statistics brought to light by local food packing partner End Hunger New England revealed Middlesex County as the Hungriest County in Massachusetts.
