Healing kitchari. Simplest for digestion
Serving for one
20 ml rice soaked
60 ml yellow split mung dal soaked.
Rinse the above ingredients. Add to pot. To that add one cup water. Simmer on stove for approximate 20 minutes or until water evaporates. The finished product is very well cooked, soft and very easily digested. Can be eaten as is. Add melted ghee for easier digestion. Pink salt to add more mineral. Mix eat enjoy.
In a pressure cooker
We cooked after soaking and washing
A cup of rice
And a cup of yellow split mung dal.
Salt to taste
Added water to your index finger until first
Knuckle or approximate 3 cups of water.
(Optional)Add 1/4 tsp powdered turmeric, pepper
Switch on pressure cooker to 6 -8 minutes.
Once pressure is released
In a fry pan.
2. Tblsp ghee ( clarified butter) or coconut oil
Fry one sliced onion in ghee and add to cooked rice for extra flavour
A mix of favourite vegetabl
Add a tablespoon or two of water leave to steam until warmed.
Serve over rice.
5 oz of a mix of mustard greens, spinach and pak Choy
1 clove garlic
1 small onion chopped
1 dry red chili pepper
2 Tblsp oil
In a pan heat oil, add pepper and onion . Cook onion until translucent. Add chopped garlic for a brief second lastly add greens.
Cook until desired.
