Chickpea sweet pancake 1/2 cup chickpeas boiled drained 3/4 cup rolled oats 1 extra ripe banana 1 cup milk of choice 1 tsp vanilla extract 5 drops almond extract 2 dates 1 Tblsp flax seed powder Pinch salt 1/2 cup blueberries or fruit of choice A versatile batter . I am using 1/2 the batter to make pancakes Other 1/2 to make a cake/muffin Bake in preheated moderate oven for approx 12 minutes until done Blend all above ingredients in a blender . Leaving out the blueberries. Add blueberries just before baking Use a non stick pan to make pancakes and grease proof a tin to bake the remaining batter preheated moderate over check at 10 minute for done ness Vegan Fluffy thick pancakes Ingredients 1 cup unsweetened plain nondairy milk 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar Dry ingredients 1 1/4 cups whole wheat pastry flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 tablespoon flax meal 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt http://www.actontv.org
