Boule made with Teff, wholewheat and all purpose flour Guest : Vikram Parikh And Shiva father and son team The recipe is fairly straight-forward: 2 c water 2 tb dried yeast 1 tb honey 1.5 tsp salt 1 tb olive oil 4 c flour as follows: 2 c white 1 1/3 c whole wheat 2/3 c teff flour Mix the water, yeast, honey, salt, and oil and set aside for a few moments while you fetch the flours from the cupboard. Add the flours knead for 6-8 minutes put into a lightly oiled bowl and let sit for 20 minutes After 20 minutes, turn the oven on to 450 degrees After another 20 minutes (essentially once the oven reaches temperature), punch down the dough and knead it into a ball of sorts place on parchment paper on a baking tray keep about 2 cups of water in a separate tray in the oven to create steam put the bread into the oven and bake for 30 minutes Take out the bread, allow to cool, and enjoy! www.actontv.org
