We’re looking for your permission to execute an agreement with the solar developer Syncarpha, which is the firm that is developing the solar project at the WR Grace site. The agreement would enable low-income customers enrolled in the Acton Power Choice program to receive a roughly 30-40% discount on their energy bill for the next 20 years. The benefit is offered through the Massachusetts solar program, known as SMART. Because the benefit is funded by Eversource each month in exchange for its receipt of electricity from the Acton/Grace project, there would be no financial cost to the Town. http://www.actontv.org
