THE CURIOUS SAVAGE by John Patrick directed by Deanna Lander produced by Linda Minkoff Theatre III is excited to announce that we are making a change to our Winter selection. We like The Curious Savage so much that we have decided to do it in the winter rather then wait until the spring. We’ve also moved the performances one weekend earlier than originally announced so as to avoid interfering with Super Bowl Weekend festivities. The Curious Savage is a comedic play about Ethel P. Savage, an elderly woman whose husband recently died and left her approximately ten million dollars. Contrasting the kindness and loyalty of psychiatric patients with the avarice and vanity of “respectable” public figures, it calls into question conventional definitions of sanity while lampooning celebrity culture.
