Description
During the Global Health Catalyst Summit held at the University of Pennsylvania, an MOU was signed with the University of Jordan to catalyze work towards improving cancer research and treatments. The President of the University of Jordan - His Excellency Professor Dr. Nathir Obeidat signed the MOU on behalf of the University. Dr. Wilfred Ngwa signed it on behalf of the Global Health Catalyst. Also present were; Dr. Yaser Rayyan- Dean of the School of Medicine (the first in the country); Dr. Kais Al Balbissi - Internal Medicine (Cardiovascular); Dr. Laila Faruk Tutunji - Pediatric Cardiologist and Fetal Cardiologist; Dr. Salameh Obeidat and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine; Dr. Stephen Avery- GHC and Dr. Saiful Huq- GHC Health Care Blind Spots Producer and Host, Vivian Kobusingye Birchall with the support of Patrick Snow, was there to capture the event.
