We are a Membership organization, devoted to public access television and the citizens who make it possible. Our members are independent producers and create programming for themselves or the organization they represent.
By law, public access is open to all citizens and to all viewpoints, and for only non-commercial purposes. If you have an idea, any idea, for a television program, we want you to be a member and we want to cablecast your program.
Marc joined ActonTV in July of 2015. Since 2003 he had been working at LTC (Lowell Telecommunications Corp.) in Lowell, MA. In Lowell Marc was the Director of Municipal Programming and also served as the Interim Executive Director. He has a strong background in Production and Outreach working with many of the cities departments and organizations. He believes strongly in working with the community and transparency of local government.
Marc has a Bachelors Degree in Communications with a concentration in Video Production from Fitchburg State University, and an Associates Degree in Broadcasting and Sound Recording from Mount Wachusett College. He is also a Film and Photography enthusiast.
Marc is an avid Disc Golfer and in his free time can often be found out on a course with his wife Talia. He also owns Hawk’s Nest Disc Golf, a Disc Golf Pro Shop located in Ayer, MA. With two 18 hole courses located behind his store, it attracts a growing number of players from all over New England.

Rick Degon is ActonTV's Studio Manager and is responsible for the maintenance and integration of our office and broadcast equipment. Rick has over twenty years of experience in professional broadcasting and has spent the last fourteen years in Public Access Television. He is the co host of a seasonal (September - December) weekly program at ActonTV called "TFS" and can be seen on many other ActonTV productions.
Rick began his professional broadcasting career in radio working for two FM radio stations. While in radio Rick was the host of several drive time radio programs and the voice of numerous sports broadcasts before coming to Acton.
Rick lives in a small town west of Acton with his wife in a victorian home built in 1900. Shortly after purchasing the home Rick and a few close friends completely gutted the home and rebuilt it to its former glory. Pat is responsible for scheduling and training at ActonTV. He leads workshops and tutorials on all of our equipment for ActonTV members of all ages, organizes coverage for events important to the community, and makes sure they make it to air.
Pat first got involved in Public Access in his home town of Chelmsford, where he spent his teenage years learning to direct, edit, and produce shows with and for the local community.
A life long film-lover, he has a passion for writing and directing his own short films, and has been accepted into film festivals across the country. He hopes to encourage the creative passions of everyone who comes to ActonTV.
